Applications are now being available for scholarships through the IACCR.There are 3 scholarships that are available this year:

|04/30/2013||IACO COMMUNITY Announced at Conference|
A new social media community is coming to Illinois. The iacocommunity.com website goes live today and offers Elected Oficials the chance to join in. The community will serve as a place for ideas to be exchanged and information to be shared. Membership is by invitation only, and those invitations will be sent by e-mail soon. Please complete the registartion invitation and become a part of the IACO Community.

|08/17/2012||Alternate Hotels for IACCR Fall Conference|
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Embassy Suites hotel no longer has any rooms available under the conference rate. There are rooms availabel at the Holiday Inn Express for $129.00 per night, and at the Fairfield Inn for $149.00 per night. There are also rooms available at the Stoney Creek Inn in East Peoria at a lower rate. You can click on the hotel for a link to their reservation site or you can call them at (309)694-4959 (for Holiday Inn Express), (309)699-4100 (for Fairfield Inn), or (309)694-1300 (for Stoney Creek Inn).

Mike Hoffman has secured a room at the State Capitol for the Legislative Committee meeting on August 10, 2012. The meeting will be held in Room 115 from 10:30AM until 1:00PM.
|05/23/2012||Creation of Jay Bennett Memorial Scholarship|
It is with great pride and pleasure that the Jay Bennett Memorial Scholarship is announced. Mary Pat Bennett would like to honor Jay by having a continuing scholarship in his name to honor children, grandchildren, step children, or step grandchildren of active IACCR members. The scholarship will be in the amount of $1,500 and will be considered with the applicants during the Carl D. "Skip" Lueth Memorial scholarship as an additional award. It will be presented by Mary Pat at the September conference. The deadline for applications for this scholaship is also June 1, 2012.

Applications are now available for the Skip Lueth Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship has been sponsored by Governmental Business Systems, Inc. (GBS) and is available to a graduating High Schooler who is the child or grandchild of an active or retired dues-paid Member of IACCR. IACCR Website Goes Live
The new IACCR website officially went live on the web on April 20, 2012. This website will provide the Association a way to keep and exchange information in a much easier manner. It will also allow for other Associations and constituents to be able to make contact with us for exchanging of information and questions. Please vist the site often as the information will change.
